The Guadagnini cello top - refining the edgework. Its important to get the edges down to their finished thicknesses
before finalising the arching. Too thick and the whole thing has to be reduced. The spots marked can be deceptively thick.
I use a cross template only at the lower corners and middle arch. These are important areas where the ff hole sit and I prefer tham both the same.
The remaining arching I eye down to the previously established edge thickness.
