A Guarneri violin - inital stages of varnishing. This fiery yellow lake is processed from an artists pigment
source I like. It does not work well as a stain or as an additive to varnish. This is wiped over the sealing coat of shellac
and Sandarac. My oil ground will be rubbed on next.
