I purfle the edge and sink the edges after the body is closed up. Most of the work is done before
fitting the neck, but the final edgework I leave until the neck is set and shaped. It is the last thing before it goes to varnishing.
A violin in the white is a thing of great beauty - one day I will put one away, unvarnished in a cupboard.
